Have you ever wondered what it would be like if major personalities from Portuguese history had Tinder profiles? No?!
Well, I have! 😀
I mean, we all wish for love, care and attention, I suppose. How would these big historical figures deal with looking for love on the internet on the 21st century? What sort of personality would they have? If nothing else, I enjoyed poking a little fun at these “untouchable” serious personalities.
Please note that I am in no way glorifying these people. They all had good and bad things to their personalities: they were humans, just like you and me. The main idea is to make you laugh while tickling your curiosity and, hopefully, motivate you to research a bit about Portuguese history. What’s with Fernando Pessoa and ridiculous love letters, for example? Well, look it up! 😉
Here’s my selection of Portuguese historical figures for this Valentine’s day:
And, because I love you all so much, I also created a Valentine’s card for each of these personalities. You can donwload them and let these major Portuguese historical figures be your wingmen and women for today! 😉
I have zero design skills but I hope you’ll have as much fun with these as I had creating them!
Happy Valentine’s or, as we say in Portuguese, “Feliz dia de São Valentim” / “Feliz dia dos namorados”!
