The palace of Monserrate, although not as big and pompous as the Pena palace (both of them in Sintra) is also surrounded by a beautiful garden and, let’s face it: it has its own unique flair.
I’ve already given you a few sneak peeks of Monserrate but here I’m showing you one of the sides of the palace in what is, I believe, a beautiful late afternoon light.
