Visiting Caramulo

caramulo1Although it is not the highest nor the most well known mountain in Portugal, Caramulo does offer a beautiful landscape. And some wild life…

caramulo2Caramulo is also home to several small rivers and, if you have ever been to Portugal, you’re likely to have drank Caramulo water. There’s also the Caramulo thermal baths, which I would love to visit – maybe one day, who knows?

caramulo3Its highest point is at 1076,57 meters and although it’s not usually figured on tourist maps it’s well worth a visit. Where is it? Google maps always knows 😉

caramulo5Enjoy!
