Random photo of the week

I was in Sertã, taking pictures of bridges, the river and the old oil mill. I was getting ready to take a picture of this bridge when I realized this guy would show up in the photo. For a nanosecond I was annoyed but then realized how much he represented a traveler.

The Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa wrote something which I believe is very well suited for this photo (my own translation): “Any path leads everywhere./ Any point is the center of infinity”.

How do you feel when traveling? Do you just go with the flow or do you have a carefully designed plan?
