Meet one of the resident cats at Regaleira, in Sintra.
Not really reaaaally black, but black enough to match the mysterious and sometimes dark feel of the place. I don’t know if this is Mr. Carvalho Monteiro or Mrs. Perpétua but I’m sure it delights visiting cat ladies (and gents!).

Totally agree – and they sometimes have that ‘dude, you’re interrupting my meditation’ kind of attitude.
You just have to love them for it.
