Sunset at Tróia, Portugal.
No, this is not the other Troy. You know, as in Helen of Troy?
This Tróia is in Alentejo, just South of Lisbon. Romans had a massive industry here, revolving around fish and all the things they made with it. At the time it was probably an island. Today it’s a peninsula, between the Atlantic Ocean and the Sado river estuary.
It’s also the place where, if you’re lucky enough, you might see dolphins! 🙂
