For today’s post I’m bringing you some beautiful stained glass from the city of Guimarães, in Portugal.

Considered the birth place of what would become Portugal the city of Guimarães is home to many important monuments, like the Ducal Palace of the Bragança. This stained glass is part of the chapel of the palace and, although the palace itself is medieval, this piece was created in the 20th century by António Lino, an artist from Guimarães.

Enjoy!
